Guanella Pass Engagement

Casey and Holly are some good friends of mine and they were sweet enough to choose me to take their engagement photos this summer. My favorite thing about these two is how fun and silly they are…I don’t think I’ve spent more than 5 minutes around them without smiling or laughing with their bubbly personalities. And so, their engagement session was just that…fun, silly, and I’ve never laughed SO hard! (I promise we were all laughing)

We met at the top of Guanella Pass around golden hour and did a quick cheers with some beers before we got started. It calmed the nerves and gave us a chance to take in the beautiful surrounding mountains and front row seat to Mt. Bierstadt. One of my favorite things about this area in the summer is all the wild flowers! The drive is absolutely stunning and I couldn’t wait to enjoy this area with these two awesome humans and their precious pup Buck.

Every prompt or direction I gave these two was playful, silly, and we all just had a blast…at least I can say I did! Both Casey and Holly would throw me a silly face here and there with Buck’s dog butt in the background. It was AWESOME! Even editing the session was fun for me so, I created a blooper reel that keeps me smiling.
