Sunrise Engagement on Loveland Pass

Christina and Kevin are Summit county locals and I couldn’t wait to meet up with them in the mountains and shoot their engagement session. It was a Sunday morning and I woke up at 3:30am to meet them on time at Loveland Pass for sunrise. It was totally worth it! We arrived in the dark with a few other cars around at the top of the pass and waited as the sky turned pink and the day began.

In my opinion, Loveland Pass has some of the most stunning mountain views in Colorado. It didn’t matter which direction I placed the couple for the surroundings were just gorgeous! We played along the top of the pass with their sweet pups Nia and Gigi and just stared at the mountains in the distance. It was a cloudy morning, but I fell in love with the changing light throughout the shoot. We made our way down to the alpine lake just over the pass and captured absolute magic with the lake reflection in the background and the lush landscapes after the fresh rain. More than anything, I loved Christina and Kevin’s energy. Their personalities and their playful love for one another was so fun and outgoing it really made this shoot one of my favorites to date.

Congratulations Christina & Kevin! I can’t wait for your wedding this winter! Keep scrolling to check out some of my favorite moments from the shoot.
