I love to ski! I've been skiing since I was 3 years old and I absolutely love a good blizzard because it means more snow for the mountains. In the summer, I also love to go outside for a walk/hike, paddleboard on the nearest lake, horseback riding, mountain biking, you name it. When I'm not in the mountains you can find me at the newest brewery in town discovering my new favorite wheat beer.

The farther the better. Growing up, both of my parents worked for the airlines so you could say the travel bug bit me early. My favorite place I've traveled is a 3-way tie between Thailand, New Zealand, and Iceland for the diverse landscapes, delicious food, and nicest locals.

I'm a Nikon gal. It all started with borrowing my dad's Nikon film camera for my high school photography class and I've stuck with Nikon ever since! I shoot on two Nikon D750 DSLR camera bodies with my favorite prime lenses: 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm. The word on the street is to go mirrorless so, I may be changing up my gear in the near future.

"When to Jump" by Mike Lewis. This book is a collection of individuals sharing their stories about switching careers. If you didn't know, I was an architect for almost 10 years and when I made the switch to professional photography this book helped me through it. I needed the inspiration of those who had gone before me. I highly recommend it for those out there with an inner voice inspiring you to go down a different path.
