Blue Lakes Engagement

Alyssa and Dillon just moved to Denver from Austin, TX a few weeks ago! YAY! So, it was my job to give them the best Colorado experience for their engagement photos.

I decided to meet up with Alyssa & Dillon in Breckenridge for a quick social-distant hello and then they followed me up a semi-sketchy dirt road to this “secret” spot. The lighting was PERFECT. It was a Friday afternoon and many weekend campers had already claimed their campsites around the lake. There was even an elopement setting up! Popular secret spot.

We got right to work down by the water and captured absolute magic. You gotta love a good fireman carry with the alpine lake glistening in the background. After a quick outfit change, we headed up the road while we let a few cars pass to kick up some dust. This created the most dreamy background and complimented Alyssa’s burnt orange dress! By the way…Dillon has some dance skills and he was getting fancy even in the rocks! Such a fun couple.

The love these two share for each other just radiated all over the place. This shoot was so much fun and we had an absolute blast hanging out. Congratulations to Alyssa & Dillon and I can’t WAIT for your wedding this Fall!
