Snowy Breckenridge Engagement
Brian reached out to me with his plan to propose to his girlfriend on their vacation in Vail. I didn’t hesitate when he asked me to capture their engagement session during their visit. He popped the question earlier that week, she said yes! So, we decided to meet near Lake Dillon at one of my favorite locations…Sapphire Point Outlook.
About twenty minutes before meeting up with Brian and Kristin, I did my usual drive up to scout out the location. It was early afternoon, cloudy, and the sun was beginning to pop out to show off some of the stunning mountain views. On my drive back down to meet up with them I thought to myself, you know what would be cool? If it snowed. Being a CO native, born and raised…I absolutely LOVE when it snows here. Sure enough, I got my wish. Minutes before I met up with Brian and Kristin, a BLIZZARD rolled in. I’m talking the big, fat, fluffy flakes! My favorite.
Brian and Kristin bundled up and we were all game to start the shoot. We played in the snow for about an hour, switched outfits in the car, played in the snow some more and then we said our goodbyes and they were on their way back to Vail. I stayed in the parking lot for maybe another 10 minutes after they left and what do ya know…the sun came out.
As a CO local, I really love how unpredictable the weather is here. I’ve experienced both good and bad, but this day was just magical. I had a blast working with Brian and Kristin, and we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing experience in the snow. Keep scrolling to the magic from the shoot. Congratulations again to Brian and Kristin!
