Loveland Pass Engagement

This was my first shoot of 2020 and it did not disappoint! I met Ben and Sarah in a cute little cafe in Silver Plume to get to know them before their session on Loveland Pass. I was beyond excited to meet them and to shoot on this beautiful day in January.

When we got to the pass, Sarah pulled out the red velvet dress she had picked out for the shoot. AH! I fell in love with it and we got right to work. We were blessed with that Colorado sunshine in the middle of winter but being on the top of a pass it was quite windy! We played on the summit for a little while taking breaks to put on a jacket and warm up in the car. But the love these two share for each other was beyond evident. Ben made Sarah laugh and the cold brought on plenty of snuggly moments and the light was incredible!

Next, we wandered down the pass to one of my favorite spots to capture the BEST light. As a natural light photographer, I like to leave these moments up to chance and chase the light wherever I am in that moment! I love it when a couple trusts me and how well it shows in the photos.

We finished up the shoot switching outfits to comfy sweaters and playing in the snow. I had so much fun working with Ben and Sarah and I’m beyond excited to shoot their wedding this fall in Breckenridge! Congrats again you too!
