Destination Wedding at Rocky Mountain National Park

Hilary and Chris had such a beautiful, adventurous destination wedding at Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park. This couple and I met back in the winter while they were vacationing in Colorado. I shot their engagement photos and we had so much fun that they asked me to capture their wedding as well. I felt so honored!

Hilary and Chris absolutely love national parks which made Rocky Mountain National Park the perfect wedding destination for them. The entire theme of their wedding was national parks and Estes Park was the perfect backdrop for it all! The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was the perfect sunny day in June without a cloud in the sky!

After the ceremony, we headed into Rocky Mountain National Park to capture their bride and groom portraits. They were stunning! We were also able to snag some photos of Hilary and Chris getting their stamp of their wedding day which was so special. Everything about shooting their day went smoothly and we captured some amazing images they’ll love forever!

Destination weddings are incredible because you get to marry your best friend in a place you can revisit time and again to relive the memories and celebrate your marriage. Returning to the destination can be an annual event or anniversary vacation for you and your spouse. I recommend choosing a wedding destination that reflects who you are as a couple. Hilary and Chris chose a destination wedding in Estes Park because it was a perfect fit for them!
