Berthoud Pass Elopement

Lisa & Ryan are the sweetest adventure couple. These two enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, all the things. Once I heard they went salsa dancing on their first date I loved them even more.

When they reached out to me and said they wanted to do an adventure elopement, I was ecstatic. We went through a variety of ideas, but in the end they decided they wanted to snowshoe to one of their favorite spots outside of Winter Park and have a private vow reading and first dance.

It was the most beautiful sunny day in the middle of Colorado winter. We met in the parking lot and headed up the trail with extra sunscreen and even a UV umbrella to block the bright sunlight from reflecting off of the snow. The trail was only about a mile but it honestly felt longer. But no complaints here, the views were amazing!

We made it to the top of the trail and Lisa & Ryan quickly changed and were ready to go! They read their vows on the overlook and we spent the rest of our time taking in the view and capturing their love.
