Upon booking, I had Kayley and Will fill out a location questionnaire to help discover what was most important to them on their wedding day. After reviewing their responses, I felt Telluride aligned perfectly with their vision. They wanted a seclusion, and were open to a variety of landscapes including: waterfalls, alpine lakes, and breathtaking mountain views.

After a ceremony in a secluded area, Kayley, Will and I ventured to a hidden waterfall that took me multiple attempts to locate. They made the trek with their wedding attire packed in their backpacks as we descended to the base of the waterfall. After a quick change, and a few moments to stand in awe for the waterfall’s beauty we took some portraits with the waterfall as the backdrop. After their portraits, Kayley & Will changed back into their hiking clothes to head to the final location of the day…a picturesque alpine lake. Hand in hand, they explored the beauty of Telluride's landscapes, deepening their connection with each step.

As darkness fell, Kayley & Will waited patiently for the stars to emerge. With headlamps and lanterns in hand we headed to the beach of the lake for the most stunning night portraits. These two were brave enough to stand in the freezing cold temperatures for multiple exposures to get the best shot while taking in the moment together.

Telluride provided the perfect canvas for Kayley & Will to craft their love story. The location for their elopement created lasting memories, infused with the beauty of the natural surroundings.
