Snowy Anniversary on Loveland Pass
Peter & Brittany had to postpone their 2020 wedding but decided to make a trip out to Colorado on the same date. I was so excited to celebrate with them and to capture an engagement session on the date that they were so looking forward to.
On the day of the shoot the weather was crazy! It was blizzarding snow, 20mph winds, and our plan was to take some photos at the TOP of loveland pass…For those of you who don’t know, Loveland Pass sits around 11,000 feet above sea level. BRR! We started on the top of the pass but quickly decided to make a last minute change to different location after literally almost being blown off the mountain!
Brittany and Peter were so easy-going and flexible when I lead them down to a warmer, less windy area. We took advantage of the distant mountain views and popped a bottle of champagne in celebration of their January 2nd wedding date. The couple got fancy as Brittany switched to a velvet green dress and Peter wore a dapper suit. At this point the snow was trickling down and creating the most magical moments.
Brittany and Peter it was SO much fun working with you and thank you so much for brining such amazing energy on a day with so many unexpected moments. I wish you all the best on your wedding day this year! Cheers!
